The Victoria Cross Shield is awarded to a student who has shown outstanding resilience in overcoming adversity. This Award has been awarded over the years to an outstanding series of young people who have displayed the kind of courage and strength of character which are examples to us all. They have also been thoroughly amazing people and a valuable part of our school community.

The Victoria Cross Shield is awarded to a student who has shown incredible resilience in overcoming adversity. This award has a history of being presented to outstanding young people who have displayed courage and a strength of character that can inspire us all.

This year, the recipient of the Victoria Cross Shield is awarded to a student who approaches all aspects of their life with determination and perseverance. Despite challenges and hardship at times, this student always upheld the finest standards of behaviour while remaining focused and dedicated to their studies.

This student embodies what it means to be a student of Norfolk Island Central School and a member of the Norfolk Island community. Successfully juggling multiple jobs and a challenging study load, this student has displayed exceptional time-management skills and commitment to his education.

He is a true role model whose caring and generous nature has a positive impact to all those around him.
