The Norfolk Wave

The Norfolk Wave Recycling Centre has been operational now for 19 months! We are kicking goals and are confident of reaching our 80% recycling rate by our 2nd birthday, putting us among the world’s top recyclers! Over the past 19 months, we've observed that our busiest days for waste drop-off have shifted from Tuesdays and Saturdays to Mondays and Saturdays, with Saturdays being the highest volume day.

As we enter a quieter season leading up to Thanksgiving, we will close the Centre on Tuesdays starting 18th March and adjust Saturday hours to 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., effective 22nd March. Although these changes may cause some inconvenience, they are aimed at improving operational efficiency while continuing to meeting community needs and maximise resource recovery.

We will monitor the situation and will reconsider reopening on Tuesdays in the busy season. For any concerns, please contact us on 24090 during business hours or 55205.
