The Flora & Fauna Society will be hosting two speakers on Tuesday evening this week

19 May 2022

Both speakers are from the Australian Museum in Sydney.

  1. Isabel Hyman will be updating us on the snail project she has been leading over the past year, with Norfolk’s native species now being bred at Taronga Zoo, and previously-thought-extinct species being rediscovered.
  2. Paul Flemons, head of Citizen Science and Expeditions at the Museum will speak to us about collecting expeditions to Norfolk, proposed for the future. Paul will show a video of previous expeditions to Balls Pyramid and the Solomon Islands, in the course of his work.

Covid safety practices will include the wearing of masks for those attending, please.

Visitors and new members are welcome.

The meeting will be held at the A&H Hall, on Tuesday 24 May, at 6.00pm
