Thankyou from the CSIRO Norfolk Island Water Resource Assessment team

24 October 2024

Jo Vanderzalm, Lisa Golding, and Brett Thomas visited Norfolk Island from October 15 to 18 to explain the findings related to water quality and acid sulfate soils as part of the Norfolk Island Water Resource Assessment.

Jo, Lisa and Brett would like to thank the Norfolk Island community for generously sharing their time and insights during discussions about the project findings.

During their visit, the team met with numerous community members during discussion sessions held with the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts, Parks Australia and the Norfolk Island Regional Council at No. 11 Quality Row. They also discussed their findings with the Norfolk Island Administrator, the KAVHA Advisory Committee, the KAVHA Grounds and Maintenance team, and the Norfolk Island Cattle Association.

Posters summarising the research are being displayed at the entrance to the Norfolk Mall.
