Solo Connections Experience Norfolk Trip

Norfolk Island Travel Centre were delighted to welcome this week Bek Ortega owner of Solo Connections escorting twenty travellers for a week of holidaying and fun on Norfolk Island. As a single traveller it can often be daunting to undertake travelling alone, which is where travel company Solo Connections fits right in specialising in bringing together solo traveller for memorabile trips.

Solo Connections organised the week’s program to take in their best pick of the Island’s dining and tours. Their first night with dinner at the Leagues Club followed by attending the Bounty Ball, began a great Bounty Day week. Together, the group enjoyed a variety of experiences and free time to explore or indulge in a bit of retail therapy, as well of course as attending Bounty Day. Staying at and well looked after by Aloha Apartments, they have explored the Island on a number of tours including: half Day Orientation tour, Fletcher’s Mutiny Cyclorama, Breakfast Bushwalk, Convict Settlement Tour, Taste of Norfolk, Colleen McCullough Home tour, Indulgence Tour and Boc’s Farm and Industry Tour.

To revive themselves from each day’s activity and also add in some extra evening entertainment, the group enjoyed dinner at Bounty Bar and Grill, a Progressive Dinner, Island Fish Fry, Hilli’s followed by 1856 The Untold Story, the Bowling Club, and finished the week with raucous good humour at the Night as a Convict dinner.

At the end of such a great week Bounty Day seeing the Island, Sophie, Bec and the team at the Norfolk Island Travel Centre wish Bek and all the Solo Connections travellers a safe trip home. We hope the memories of this holiday will stay with you a long time.
