Silver Dawn Luxury Cruise Ship Due Norfolk Island: Saturday 21 February 2026

This month the first cruise ships for 2026 are due to arrive here on Norfolk Island as a final stop before heading to New Zealand as they enjoy their adventure on their South Pacific Cruises. Last weekend was the Cruise Ship Crystal Serenity on Sunday 15 February 2026 and this weekend is the cruise ship Silver Dawn which is due to arrive on Saturday 21 March. Both vessels have up to approximately 400 to 500 passengers onboard, and the ships are expected to be in port from 8am to 3pm.

The Cruise ships will anchor in the bay at Kingston or Cascade, and once the sea conditions are assessed, they will use transfer vessels for the passengers disembarking. Listen to the Norfolk Island Radio Station for updates in the morning of their arrival. Baunti Tours will be operating their shuttle services, so if passengers disembark at Cascade Pier, they can use these services to visit Kingston with a drop-off and pickup during the day, plus there will be a drop-off and pickup area in town.

The second of these cruise ships for 2026 is the Silver Dawn, scheduled to arrive on Saturday 21 February 2026. The Silver Dawn has the capacity for 576 – 691 guest with 288 cabins on 8 of the 11 decks. It is estimated that there are 430 passengers on board this cruise ship, and I am sure they will be looking forward to visiting Norfolk Island on the weekend.

The passengers are enjoying their 17 night cruise which departed Papeete, Tahiti Island, French Polynesia on 7 February and the voyage ends on 24 February in Auckland, New Zealand.

The passengers will explore Papeete, Tahiti Island, French Polynesia, Aitutaki Island, Cook Islands, Nukualofa, Tongatapu Island, Tonga, Sayusava, Vanua Levu Island Fiji, Mystery Island, Aneityum, Vanuatu, Noumea, Grande Terre Island, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, then onto Bay of Islands, Russel, New Zealand and finally Auckland, New Zealand.

Silver Dawn current cruise is а 49 days, one-way from Fort Lauderdale to Auckland. Prices start from USD 32,500 (double occupancy rates).

The itinerary begins on January 6, 2026, and ends on February 24, 2026.

The last cruise ship I recorded in 2025 was the Luxury Cruise ship Scenic Eclipse which visited Norfolk Island on 28 November 2025 with up to 228 passengers and 176 crew. The attractive vessel was very new and built in 2023. The Scenic Eclipse also visited Norfolk Island on 16 April 2024 and gave passengers a ship’s flight on one of the two ship’s helicopters.

February looks like an exciting month with two cruise ships visiting. Last weekend Crystal Serenity visited with approximately 500 passengers. We wish Silver Dawn’s passengers safe travels as they sail on their cruise adventure and hope the sea is calm and the visitors will all get to enjoy their day visiting our friendly shores exploring Norfolk Island during their visit due to arrive this weekend on Saturday 21 February 2026.

I do not have an official confirmed list of cruise ships visiting Norfolk Island during 2026. The next scheduled cruise ship on one of my lists shows Scenic Eclipse on 7 March 2026 and Hanseatic Inspiration on 15 March 2026. And then later in the year P&O Cruise Carnival Encounter on 4 August 2025.
