Welcome back to Term 4
We are very excited about a productive term of learning ahead. Term 4 will be busy with the upcoming the HSC, school concert and lots of additional activities. We hope everyone had a relaxing break...it’s great to be back!
HSC 2021 Students
Year 12, 2021 have returned for the first 4 weeks of Term 4 for additional support leading into the delayed HSC Examinations. Students received their timetables last term and have flexible attendance, meaning they only need to attend their timetabled lessons. All Year 12 students are required to sign in and out of school each day.
The first HSC Examination is set for Tuesday, 9th November with all examinations to be held at the Uniting Church Hall. Best of luck to all Year 12 students in preparation for the HSC.
School Leadership Induction Assembly
Thank you to parents and families for your attendance at our School Leader Induction Assembly on Tuesday, 5th October. It is a warming tradition seeing members of the family called up to present our student leaders with their badges.
Congratulations to School Captains, Ella Borg and Sera Sadrata; and School Vice Captains, Ella Rogers and Alani Snell. A special thank you to the outgoing 2021 School Captains, Ada Nebauer and Jonny Sheridan; and Vice Captains, Tiana Randall and Maycee Deszecsar. Your contribution to NICS and the community over the past 12 months is a legacy of your leadership.
Thank you also to Lance Miller and Sarah Drinan for your coordination of the assembly.
Kindergarten Orientation
Kindergarten Orientation began on Thursday, 7th October at 930. Current Year 1 students assisted as they will become buddies when school resumes next year. The following Kindergarten Orientation dates are below;
Thursday, 21st October 930am – 1030am
Thursday, 28th October 930am – 1030am
Thursday, 4th November 930am – 1100am (students to stay for the recess break)
