Care Norfolk Inc. are looking for casual and/or permanent part time nurses to deliver their new community home care service to their clients. This new service is funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care and we require community minded, client focused professionals to build and deliver this service.
Care Norfolk Inc is a Not-for-Profit community care organisation delivering Aged and disability care to the community of Norfolk Island.
We will be providing in-home care focusing on the following areas:
- Health Promotion and assessments
- Diabetes Management/ Care
- Medication Management
- Basic Wound Management/Care
Essential criteria
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- A current police check
- Current drivers’ licence and own vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and documentation skills
- A minimum of 3 covid-19 vacations
- Experience in aged and or community care
Desirable
- Willingness to become a RAS assessor
- Good computer skills
