- Reminder that school holidays are coming up so be aware that there will be a lot of kids on bicycles and scooters. Please take care while driving or riding on the roads.
- People on electric bikes are also reminded that they are responsible for how they ride. Wear helmets and be aware of the traffic around you.
- The NIPF have received a few reports lately of thefts from vehicles. It is a shame that we have to say this but we are encouraging people to lock their vehicles in an effort to stop this sort of behaviour.
- There have also been reports of theft of vehicle registration plates. This sort of behaviour does not reflect the community standards of Norfolk Island and we would encourage anyone who has done this or has possession of any of these registration plates to return them to where they were taken or leave them somewhere where they will be easily seen so that they can be returned.
