- It was really good to see such a large crowd at the show on Monday, the weather was great and we hope everyone enjoyed the public holiday
- As you all know, school is back so please slow down in the school zone
- We have noticed that, with the good weather, there is an increase of vehicles on the road, especially motorcycles. The NIPF are reminding all drivers and riders to obey the road rules. There are no excuses for some of the behaviour that is being seen on Norfolk’s roads:
- Speeding
- Going around other vehicles which are doing the speed limit
- Standing up in the rear tray of a ute while they are moving
- Persons under 8 years old in the tray of a ute while it is moving
- Unrestrained children in moving vehicles
- If you are riding a bicycle on the roads and you are in a group (2 or more riders) please ride in single file. Riding next to another bicycle narrows the lane of traffic for any motor vehicles and slows the natural flow of vehicles which is dangerous to all road users.
- Please be safe while operating any vehicle or bicycle on the roads and be respectful of other road users.
