- Most people would know that Alexey and his family have left the island after spending 2.5 years here. They really enjoyed their time here and it was a little sad to see them go.
- Alexey’s replacement and his family arrived on island on Sunday and I’m sure you will all make them feel welcome.
- In relation to firearms licence holders – can I ask that you check to make sure your licence has not expired. If it has and we become aware of it we have no choice but to seize any firearms until the licence is current and that is not something that we want to have to do.
- Not sure if people read the online news or the paper last week but just want to advise the community that the NIPF will have some bosses coming to the island for a few days. When they are here we will be wearing our belts with guns on etc. I want to assure everyone that there is nothing sinister going on. When the bosses leave we will go back to our normal uniform. There is no need for any concern.
