Please Explain

We have always looked after our elders. We know they are a different breed of people, hardworking and complaining little. Can you please explain why, when an elder rings up nowadays, and tells the hospital that they really aren't feeling well at all, they are told to get someone to bring them in during business hours instead of calling an ambulance? We know there are people who will continuously complain and go to the hospital, but our elders have to be pretty desperate to call. Get to know the people in your community....
