Oceania DTL Shooting Championships

Norfolk Island Clay Target Association had 5 members competing at Pukekohe, New Zealand in the Oceania DTL Shooting Championships last weekend.

Clinton Judd, Mitchell Meers, Kayden Judd, Tim Rogers and Mick Williams.

There were 7 Countries competing, Norfolk Island, New Zealand, Tonga, Tahiti, New Caledonia, Niue and Samoa.

They had exciting results from Day 1 in the 100 target Double Barrel event.

In the teams Norfolk Island, Clinton Judd, Mitchell Meers, Kayden Judd won the Gold followed by New Zealand with Silver and Tahiti winning the Bronze.

In the individual competition the results were:

Gold, New Zealand

Silver, Tahiti

Bronze, Norfolk Island, Clinton Judd after a successful shoot off.

In the Junior competition the results were:

Gold - New Zealand

Silver - Norfolk Island, Kayden Judd after a successful shoot off.

Bronze - New Zealand

On day 2 in the Single barrel 100 target event, Norfolk Island team of Clinton Judd, Mitchell Meers and Kayden Judd took out the Gold again. Silver was New Zealand and Bronze was New Caledonia.

In the individual section of the competition we had more great results.

Gold - Norfolk Island Clinton Judd

Silver - Norfolk Island Kayden Judd

Bronze - New Zealand James Sullivan.

The event for this last day was 100 target Point Score.

Again there was a teams, open and juniors event that we were competing in.

The results in the teams were Gold to New Zealand, Silver for Norfolk Island - Clinton Judd, Mitchell Meers, Kayden Judd and Bronze to Samoa.

In the individual section the results were:

Gold - New Zealand
Silver - Clinton Judd, Norfolk Island
Bronze - Tahiti

In the junior section the results were:
Gold - New Zealand
Silver - Kayden Judd, Norfolk Island
Bronze - New Zealand

There is a High Over All based on the 3 days of competition and the results are very exciting for Norfolk.

Clinton Judd won the High Over All for the entire Oceania DTL shooting championship!
