Notice Of Temporary Closure and Prohibition of Access Phillip Island Section Norfolk Island National Park

The community is advised that the Philip Island section of the Norfolk Island National Park will be closed to public access for a 5 day period from Monday 18 July 2022 to Friday 22 July 2022 (weather dependent) for the purposes of pest animal (Tarler Bird) control involving the use of firearms.

The closure is for public safety and is authorised under the Environment Protection & Biodiversity Conservation Act & Regulations.

Any person requiring emergency access during the closure period is required to obtain clearance by calling 22695 during office hours or 53218 after hours.
