Notice of Temporary Closure and Prohibition of Access Phillip Island Section Norfolk Island National Park

The community is advised that the Philip Island section of the Norfolk Island National Park will be closed to public access for a 5 day period from 07:00 Monday 29 August 2022 to 17:00 Friday 2 September 2022 (weather dependent) for the purposes of pest animal (Tarler Bird) control involving the use of firearms.

The closure is for public safety and is authorised under the Environment Protection & Biodiversity Conservation Act & Regulations.

Any person requiring emergency access during the closure period is required to obtain clearance by calling 22695 during office hours or 53218 after hours.
