The month of December hosted Norfolk Island's annual Surf Competition, plus an extra competition for the women's & junior surfers on the island.
The Wahines (Womens) & Groms (Juniors) Surf Competition was held at Bumboras Beach on December 14th and it was epic. The waves were big with a great potential to show some board riding skills and that's exactly what the competitors did. The skill level of board riders on Norfolk Island is improving more & more, with each competition being even more exciting than the last, as surfers & bodyboarders going bigger & better.
The Results from the December 14th Wahines & Groms Competition are as follows.

This competition was closely followed by our annual Opens Boxing Day Surf Competition, however due to poor weather & surf conditions the competition date was moved to Suday the 29th at Kingston (The Reef). The waves were good, the weather was great & the board riding was epic! The competition proved to be another great day, not only for surfers but for the whole family.
