Norfolk Island Girl Guides Trash and Treasure

This month is the Trash and Treasure fundraiser at the Norfolk Island Girl Guides Hall. This will be held at the Guide Hall, which is on Fay Bataille Drive, on the left hand side of the road along Middlegate Road just past the school and Banyan Park Childcare and Playcentre.

The Girl Guides Trash and Treasure was held last week on

Saturday 9 November, Sunday 10 November, and Wednesday, 13 November

The next Trash and Treasure days are on again this weekend

Saturday, 16 November and Sunday, 17 November 2024.

You can pick up some amazing treasures! From jewellery to games, bed linen to household items, books and toys, there is something for everyone! Bring cash and donate and support the Norfolk Island Girl Guides, our local community group.

Thank you to all those who have donated items for the Trash and Treasure. Due to lack of space at the Guide Hall, please do not donate anything after 31 October 2024.

This years proceeds from the sale will be used to buy paint to paint the Guide Hall inside and outside.

At the beginning of 2024, the Norfolk Island Girl Guides also held a fundraiser to repair the hall after water damage, and it is wonderful how caring our Norfolk Island community is when it comes to helping and fundraising. The building has been repaired and thank you to everyone who assisted with the work and fundraising.

• The Norfolk Island Girl Guide Hall is also set up for use in any emergency management purposes.

• The Norfolk Island Girl Guide Association is a not-for-profit organisation.

• The Norfolk Island Girl Guide Hall is used by many groups and other functions and fundraisers at times.
