Norfolk Island Commonwealth Games Team, Sunday Parade

Congratulations to all of the Norfolk Island Representatives selected to travel to Scotland for the XXIII Commonwealth Games, commonly known as Glasgow 2026, which will take place from 23 July to 2 August 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Last Sunday, 28 June, the teams gathered at Rawson Hall and marched through town, to the Norfolk Island Bowling Club on a warm sunny morning. I proudly took the photographs of the Norfolk Island representatives of this special event. I have shared the photos on Facebook and social media, which you can view on Norfolk Island Bowling Club and Norfolk Island Noticeboard. The photos included the representatives, the lawn bowls team members and managers and Chef de Mission John Groat. I also took a few photographs of the teams with their family and friends as everyone gathered as the teams prepare for this very special sporting event.

At the Norfolk Island Bowling Club, our representatives and sports players received their Norfolk Island Amateur Sports Uniforms, and they looked fantastic, with a travelling uniform, bowls uniform and a casual uniform for the games village.

Thank you, Norfolk Island Amateur Sports and Commonwealth Games Association for supporting the Norfolk Island representatives travelling to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
