NICS’ ANZAC Day Ceremony was held on Wednesday, 26 April, chaired by the Junior and Senior School Leadership Team. Thank you to Mr Warren Finch, President of the Norfolk Island RSL Sub-Brach; Mr Terence Grube, Secretary of the Norfolk Island RSL Sub-Branch; Mr Luke Howlett, President of the Norfolk Island RSL Memorial Club; and Colonel Young, Assistant Chief of Staff, Headquarters Command. A special thank you to Sgt Liam Kiernan, a past student at NICS, for his attendance and address.

We take great pride in our school and the wearing of school uniform is an observable demonstration of this. As the weather is starting to cool down, students are reminded to wear the correct school jumper and pants, and to continue the wearing of the school hat. If students are out of uniform, please send a note to explain the situation. If families need assistance with acquiring school uniform, please contact the Deputy Principal, Kirstie Ireland.

A reminder the Cross Country Carnival will be held on Wednesday, 3 May. All details and maps can be found in the newsletter from last week.

Bounty Ball 2023

Bounty Ball practice has commenced for secondary students and Thursdays for Prep-Year 6 students.

Years 7-12 will meet at Rawson Hall from 5.00pm – 6.00pm on Tuesdays.

Students from P-2 will meet at the Sports Pavilion from 2.50pm – 3.45pm on Thursdays.

Students from Years 3-6 will meet under the COLA (covered court) from 2.50pm – 3.45pm on Thursdays.
