Norfolk Island Amateur Sports and Commonwealth Games Association

The Annual General Meeting for the Norfolk Island Amateur Sports and Commonwealth Games Association was held on Monday 15 July 2024.

The new elected committee members for 2024 are:

President – Sheryl Yelavich

Vice President – Kevin Coulter

Secretary – Jacqueline Grundy

Treasurer – John Groat

Assistant Secretary – Shae Wilson

Committee members – Hadyn Evans, John Christian, Katie Walden, Kristie Wilson

Since the inception of NIASA, Sheryl has become the first female President to take over the helm. A huge congratulations from all the committee.

All the sporting clubs and committee members present expressed a big thank to outgoing President Malcolm Tarrant for his dedication, commitment and contribution within various roles of this committee for the past 30 years. We will miss Mal and wish him all the very best for his future endeavours. It was agreed that Mal will become a life member of this association.
