Norfolk Island Airport Emergency Exercise

Norfolk Island Airport’s biannual emergency exercise will take place on Thursday the 18th November 2021 at 0900.

This is a live field exercise designed to test the Norfolk Island Airport Emergency Plan and will involve volunteer “passengers” and response from various emergency services, and agencies including the Police, Ambulance and the Fire Brigade to a simulated aircraft accident at the airport.

Members of the public should not be alarmed by any unusual concentration of emergency vehicles, sirens and personnel at or around the Norfolk Island Airport during the exercise.
