NICS News Week 1 Term 4

From the Principal’s Desk

Welcome back to Term 4. I hope that families had a lovely spring school holiday and are ready to get back into learning.

Year 12 students have been busy preparing for their upcoming Higher School Certificate Examinations which commence next Wednesday, 11 October. I would like to wish the Year 12 cohort for 2023, the final NSW cohort from NICS, all the best in their examinations. I look forward to hearing your results in December. A reminder for students that their teachers continue to be accessible throughout this time for support.

Late last term, NICS had their inaugural school review. A copy of the executive summary and infographic are located in the NICS website. Thank you to the community members who took the time to meet with the team. These documents are currently being unpacked with staff to create the new 4-year strategic plan for NICS.

Next week is a short week with the A&H Show Day Public Holiday on Monday, 9 October. As always, I am looking forward to seeing the students works displayed, including the construction and timber projects.
