NI Mental Health Awareness Group

The NIMHAG are seeking applications from suitable persons to undertake the Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructors course through Mental Health First Aid Australia in either Sydney or Brisbane to support and train persons in Youth Mental Health First Aid.

This intensive 5 day course accredits successful applicants to conduct the 14 hour Youth Mental Health First Aid course. Prior to commencing this course the successful applicant is required to undertake the Standard Mental Health First Aid course and meet selection criteria from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

Following successful completion the successful applicant will be required to co- facilitate Youth Mental Health First Aid courses on Norfolk Island to support youth Mental Health.

NIMHAG will fund course fees, airfare and assistance with accommodation.
