At the monthly Dinner Meeting last night at the Lions Club of Norfolk Island's Clubhouse, down at Kingston, members were pleased to have Rebekah and Nitin Gupte as special guests.

Rebekah was awarded with a framed certificate of appreciation from Lions Australia, for her charitable contribution of eggs for Lion's bbq's, from her Chicken and Duck Pastorage here on island. Rebekah spoke on the trials and tribulations of raising these birds both for eggs and meat. Pastorage differs from 'free range' in that the birds have paddocks to graze in all day long, not just let out to savour a bit of daylight and green pickings for a short period of time. Rebekah's story was very well received and enjoyed by all.
