Lions Club of Norfolk Island 2024 “Better Odds Raffle”

Saturday 9th November saw the drawing of The Lions Club Better Odds Raffle at their 60th Anniversary Dinner in the Whalers Bar at The South Pacific hotel. A delicious meal was enjoyed by all. After a few formalities it was down to the business of rolling the barrel under the watchful eye of Leading Senior Constable Mel Yeo and drawing the numbers to find out who the lucky winner of $6,000.00 and for Shelly Le Cren the right numbers came out 697. Then to draw for second prize of $1,000.00 who would believe it was Shelley’s brother Jonno with ticket number 619. And lastly the draw for third prize of $500.00 went to Jac Grundy, ticket number 541.
