League of Legends visit Norfolk Island

About a month ago Norfolk Island Junior Rugby League were advised Norfolk Tourism were looking at bringing in some Legend Footy players to the Island for a fun event. The NIJRL jumped at the chance to get involved.

We have the likes of Peter Gill, Greg Bird, Ben Hannant, Cliff Lyons, Jim Dymock, Greg Florimo, Antonio Winterstein and about 20 more other Legends arriving on Thursday 8th December.

The NIJRL thought it would be a great opportunity to run some food and a bar, get some live music going, the Uwaii Byuutis dancing and hold a raffle. This will happen down at the Compound at Kingston. Open to everyone from 5pm.

Then on Friday 9th December we have the games. Starting with League Tag girls from 4pm, then the u14 boys game, the u9 Mixed Game followed by the International Legends of League State of Origin game. Again there will be music, food and a bar running for the night.

Saturday 10th December we have a Sportsmans Dinner at the Leagues Club. Tickets are still available at $75pp or $95pp to be on a table with a legend and that includes a buffet meal too. A great few hours hearing the stores from 6 legends over a few hours. A great night to be had by all!
