The Norfolk island Travel Centre is looking for a passionate groups and events coordinator to join our team! Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with groups consultants and managers to provide strategic and creative input during event planning.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, venue set up, vendor coordination, budget management, timeline development, and on-site coordination.
- Assist in developing event programs that align with client needs in collaboration with consultants and groups managers.
- Guide and monitor each event through its lifecycle, producing outcome reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with sponsors, speakers, and guests as needed.
- Serve as the main point of contact during events, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Manage timelines to ensure event deliverables are met punctually.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups, evaluations, and maintain relationships with vendors and sponsors.
