Rawson Hall was a busy place on Saturday 18th September. The “Norfolk Island Health and Wellbeing Expo” invited the community to this FREE event to promote Health and Wellbeing, strengthening our community in today's World. The Expo started at 10:00 am and finished at 1:00pm in the afternoon.

There was over 25 exhibitors at 2021 Expo held at Rawson Hall showcasing a wide range of health and wellbeing supports, services and products available on and off our remote island. The inaugural Health and Wellbeing Expo was held in 2018 and thank you to all the community groups and volunteers who have continued to make this a successful Norfolk Island annual event.

Once again, there were “Health and Wellbeing” presentations, interesting talks, and demonstrations from some of the exhibitors. During the expo, there was health screening activities, checking blood pressures, plus related health information. You may have been aware of the “spanner in the works program”, which promoted men’s health during the past couple of years.

Food was also available in the tent outside the hall offering healthy food for sale. There were lucky door prizes with many draws, plus some of the exhibitors also with organised their own raffles or entry draws. I was excited when I won a wonderful box of fruit, vegetables, and treats, thank you Norfolk Island Red Cross members for this generous box of local produce.
