This week in fishing news from Norfolk Island we were lucky to get just one nice day of weather to go fishing. Knowing that the forecast for next week or so looks too wild for fishing there was a few boats out on Tuesday.
There was mixed reports but for the most part everyone caught some nice fish and enjoyed the warm sunshine that has been lacking for some time now. A few of the better fish caught this week would be some big Silver Trevally, Kingfish and Redthroat but there was also a nice Wahoo caught by a visitor while out on a charter with Luke Fitzpatrick.
Whales and dolphins have been a fairly regular sight again which is always nice. With a few days of rain, wind and swell coming for us it’s time to put the boat in the shed and go over every piece of gear and equipment to make sure it’s ready for the next stretch of good weather.
Take care everyone and see you all next week.
