Greenwood Fishing Adventure

This week in fishing news from Norfolk Island we’ve had a some great fishing. Monday was still a little windy and with a big south west swell it just wasn’t worth heading out but since Tuesday the winds have dropped the boats have been coming out of their sheds and getting their owners and friends out on the water to enjoy this beautiful spring weather. Norfolk just about always has exceptional fishing but the last few days have been extra crazy. There’s been boats catching up to 11 yellowfin tuna in a couple of hours, triple hook ups on big kingfish jigging and even a few wahoo, not to mention some huge sweetlip from the bottom. Luke and I have been busy taking out visiting anglers but tomorrow I’m out with mates looking far and wide for some bigger yellowfin that are hopefully starting to migrate south on the edge of some warmer water.
