Encouraging Attendance and Supporting Our Community – NISEDU AGM Invitation

29 October 2025

At the heart of a strong education system is not only great attendance, but a supportive community working together to ensure every child has the chance to thrive. One such group making a big difference on Norfolk Island is the Norfolk Island Support and Education Development Unit (NISEDU).

We are pleased to share that NISEDU will be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday 10th November at 5:00pm, at Life Without Barriers, Taylors Road. All community members are warmly invited to attend.

NISEDU is a not-for-profit organisation founded by local parents over 20 years ago. Their ongoing mission is to support, educate, and advocate for Norfolk Island families and children aged 0–25 who experience learning and developmental challenges. These challenges can impact both quality of life and access to education, making NISEDU’s role a vital one in our island’s education landscape.

By attending the AGM, you show your support for inclusive education and learn more about how we can work together to give every child the best chance at success. NISEDU is always welcoming new members, whether you're a parent, educator, or simply someone who believes in equal opportunities for all students.
