Don’t be a bum, bin it!

Camping this summer? BBQ-ing daun’taun? Or gwen naawi after work?

While you’re enjoying awas beautiful Summer, don’t forget to look after awas beautiful Norfolk. If you’re camping, remember to take enough bins for all of your rubbish, and don’t forget a scrap bucket for any leftovers!

When BBQ-ing, do your bit and clean up after yourself. The KAVHA bins are well labelled so be sure to sort your waste streams appropriately. This makes it easier for the KAHVA crew, as well as our team at The Norfolk Wave. We’ve been achieving amazing recycling rates of 77% and 78% over the last 2 months, and we are working hard to keep this upwards trajectory going! If we all continue to be diligent and mindful of where our rubbish goes, we just might come out the other end of Summer as the best recyclers in the Southern Hemisphere!

We’ll be closed for public holidays and our normal Thursdays and Sundays, for maintenance, Christmas cheer and much deserved days at the beach!
