Disconnected

22 July 2022

Imagine you live on a tiny island, miles from the mainland, where there is little internet coverage and only one telephone box. Then along comes Norman, a telecoms engineer, whose job it is to disconnect the telephone box. The locals are not happy. To them the box is not just for communication. It is a landmark, a makeshift chicken coop, a greenhouse and, for Joe, the proprietor of the local Off Licence, it has a special purpose. How will the islanders fight the advance of progress

Everyone on the island has more than one occupation and they combine their different talents to fight the cause. Will they be successful? To find out come to NATS’ latest comedy at The Ferny Lane Theatre on Friday, 22nd or Saturday, 23rd at 7.30pm or Sunday, 24th July at 2.30pm.

Tickets will be available at the door – only $20 for a great show. This is the first time this play has been presented in the Southern Hemisphere. Another first for NATS.
