“Cracking the Food Code”

On Tuesday 28th March, 7-9am at the Salty Beer Garden, Associate Professor Helen Vidgen is presenting on Cracking the Food Code for International Women’s Day event. Dr Vidgen is a public health nutrition researcher from the Queensland University of Technology School of Nutrition Sciences with over 20 years’ experience as a nutritionist. Helen will be sharing research on what it means to eat well and what steps we can all take to achieve this. Dr Vidgen will be talking the impact of what, how, where and when we eat, and where our food comes from. She will show thinking about your own food literacy can empower you, your household and our community to meet your food needs within our complex food system.
