The Norfolk Island Junior Rugby League can’t begin to thank the 94 Beaudesert Kingfishers - players, coaches & families

enough for the last week that was. We started the week out with some great football and ended the week with some very exciting opportunities. Watch this space!

For the past few seasons of Rep football, both the Coomera Cutters and Beaudesert have come together with the Norfolk Island Junior Rugby League to create endless and invaluable opportunities for the kids representing Norfolk Island. This year Beaudesert was impressed by the high level of football brought to the table by all grades and players, and decided to award four scholarships! A huge congratulation to Jesse Schmitz, Mia Pashley, Cameron Christian and Jonny Sheridan who will spend six weeks in Beaudesert next football season, going to school or work and playing football. The four recipients will spend their time with families who come and played football with us this year, and train, play and live football with them.

Jesse, Mia, Cam and Jonny, we couldn’t be more proud of you four and excited where these opportunities may take you in the future! Well deserved.
