𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲!

This is an exciting opportunity to provide independent input and guidance to the Argentine Ant Eradication Program on our Island with a particular focus on the implementation of the regularly-updated Eradication Plan.

Members of the steering committee play an important role in preserving our environment through a number of activities: •Reading through and providing comments on the Eradication Strategy and Operational Plan each time they’re updated. •Considering and providing comments on the progress of the Argentine Ant Eradication Program against the strategy as detailed in the progress reports.
•Attending regular meetings of the steering committee and contributing to out of session work when relevant

If you would like to submit your expression of interest in joining the steering committee, email your submission to regionalcouncil@nirc.gov.nf, your submission should highlight your suitability for the role through the provision of a cover letter which details which body they are representing (this could be community member), a résumé, and any other documents that support your suitability!
