Another top day last Saturday with a very good roll up of members for Rd 8 of the "Olive Cafe" Monthly Medal & Lisner Trophy. These great winter weather days keep rolling on as does the quality of the golf and once again a big thanks to Naomi and Johanna for their generous sponsorship.

With the 2018 A.G.M coming up in September the Club is looking for members who can take up positions in the Club.  Put something back into the Club in return for the enjoyment that you get out of our great little club.  We are so fortunate to have such an excellent golf club with so few members in comparison with Mainland clubs.  You can help keep it that way.

Please note that there are some changes to the fixture book over the next few months, so members are asked to refer to the Golf Report and Club Presentations.  The first of these changes will occur next Saturday 18^th August which will be the Araucaria Building Contractors & NI Pest Control Trophy – Rnd 2.  Saturday 25^th August will be a 4BBB Stableford with choice of partner and group. 

Competition Results:

The excellent golf keeps coming with some good cards in.  Winning the "Olive Cafe" Monthly Medal for August plus bonus points toward the "Olive Cup" was Danny Nobbs with a 68 nett on a c/b from Shane Evans and Brooke Watson in 3rd place with a 70 nett on a c/b from Eric Hutchinson.

The Pro-Pin 4th was not struck, the All-In 9/18th went to Rees Walden [450cm], the Ladies 2nd shot to 6/15th Pat McCoy [920cm] and the Men's 2nd shot to 1/10th Kim Davies [350cm].

The "Island Plumbing & Gas" Putt Off continues upwards and today will be worth $315

Wednesday's golf, an Individual Stableford event had numbers down due to the morning’s inclement weather but once the rain stopped around midday they began to roll up, and it ended up a pleasant afternoon on the course.  Kerry Robertson turned on another top round to win the day with 41 pt's from Chris Magri 40 pt's and Robyn Lockhart 38 pt's. The pro-Pin 4th went to Fred Howe [380cm].

Social Golf News:

Veteran's golf had another good turnout of players. Steve Foster won the day with 18 pt's on a c/b to Peter Sanders with Brooke Watson in 3rd place with 17 pt's.  Everyone is welcome on a Tuesday 2.15 for a 2.30pm start so come down and enjoy the friendship of like minded golfers.

It was another great Friday afternoon at the Club too with good fields in both the Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run and Junior Choc Run.  The young guns are certainly performing lately with Ashante Evans taking out first place in the Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run this week.  Well done Ashante!  Taj Quintal took out first place in the junior choc run with another great round – well done Taj!

The “Olive Branch" is certainly increasing the number of people passing through the Golf Club enjoying Nomes’ lunch menu and taking advantage of these balmy  sunny winters days on the veranda with a stunning backdrop of the Golf Course and sea views. Have you sampled the menu yet?

Slight communication breakdown in the event for last Saturday, "Jackpot Day" but it will be played on a date to be advised.

Today the final Rd of the "Kev Wills" Memorial Teams Trophy will be played out to find the winners for 2018.  A big thanks to the Wills family for their sponsorship this event.

With the days beginning to become a little longer and July disappearing means the big event of the year "Hardy's Wines" Golf Classic is fast approaching.  The course is looking in great shape and all goes well for another big week in August.

Competition Results:

The “Jackpot Day" replacement event , an Individual Stableford, once again resulted in some very good scoring taking advantage of the weather and the golf course conditions. That man again, Paul Browne, turned in another great round with 44pt's. Dave McCowan came in 2nd place on a c/b from Jared Magri both on 39 pt's.  Honi Wilson had the best in the Ladies on 36 pt's from Caroline Miratana 33 pt's.

The Pro-Pin 4th went to Eric Hutchinson [168cm], the All-In 9/18th Paul Browne [199cm], the Ladies 2nd shot to 6/15th Caroline Miratana [119cm] and the Men's 2nd shot 1/10th Beau Magri [340cm].

Wednesday's golf was postponed to Thursday with respect to the Snell family.  Another Individual Stableford event attracted a smaller field than usual, probably because of the day change, but another sunny winter’s day made for a pleasant afternoon of golf.  The good scores keep coming in with regular Kiwi visitor Geoff Rothwell winning the day with 41 pt's from Nathan Walden on 39 pt's on a c/b to Eric Hutchinson. Honi Wilson once again had the best of the Ladies with 32 pt's from Robyn Lockhart 27 pt's. The Pro-Pin 4th went to Eric Hutchinson.

Social Golf News:

Veteran's Golf was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Friday saw another great turn up for the Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run.  It was a soggy finish for some with passing showers, but the veranda was still the best spot on the Island for that Friday afternoon drink!  Congratulations to Hayley Evans who took out first place in the chook run.  Thanks to Dave and the team at NI Mechanical for their ongoing sponsorship. 

There was also a good field of juniors considering its holidays for the Junior Choc Run.  Most of our juniors made it in before the rain except one unlucky group who returned to the Club very wet.  Congratulations to Cassie Shone who took out the junior comp with a score of nett 9 from runner-up Jade Umlauft on nett 10.  The junior choc run is played every Friday throughout the year (including school holidays).  The Tuesday junior clinics run at 4pm every week during school terms (excluding funerals and public holidays).  If you have a junior golfer interested in joining in either our Tuesday or Friday junior events, call Andrew in the Pro Shop 23603 for details.

If you have been down to the golf club lately you should have noticed a change in the kitchen. We have a new caterer, our great supporter and sponsor of our “Olive Cafe " Monthly Medal and the Annual "Olive Cup", Naomi Thompson has taken over with "The Olive Branch" and judging by the numbers in the club and the smiles on their faces all is going very well already. So come down and enjoy the setting and the food. 

Today's golf is “Jackpot Day", an Annual traditional day begun many years ago and sponsored by local business people, Michael and Vicky Jack. Michael used to walk his dogs through and around the Golf Course daily and the dogs became expert at sniffing and collecting golf balls. The amount of balls collected by the dogs was nothing short of amazing and so began "Jackpot Day". Since Michael's passing Vicky still walks her dog regularly around the Golf Course. Many thanks Vicky for your ongoing sponsorship. 

Competition Results: 

Last Saturday was Rd 7 of the "Olive Cafe" Monthly Medal & Lisner Trophy, and once again we thank Naomi and Johanna for their generous sponsorship. Another good field and more good scores, competing for the Monthly Medal but also valuable points for the "Olive Cup".  Relatively new member but a regular over the past 6 months, Paul Browne, won the day and maximum points towards the Olive Cup with a 65 nett.  Arthur [Arty] Keeping came in 2nd place, and is considering giving up the drink, with a 66 nett with Tony Scicluna in 3rd place on 67 nett. 

Robyn Lockhart had the best of the Ladies with a 70 nett from Kerry Robertson 75 nett and Caroline Miratana 77 nett. 

The Pro-Pin 4th went to Chris Magri with a fine shot to 36cm and to claim the Pro-Pin jackpot. The All-In 9/18th Beau Magri [800cm], the Ladies 2nd shot to 6/15th Belinda Grube [15cm] and the Men's 2nd shot to 1/10th Beau Magri [280cm].

When a golfer is restricted to play with only 4 clubs, [3 clubs plus a putter] one wonders why we carry so many clubs around in our golf bag, particularly when you see some of the scores that came in last Saturday's play of the day.  A novelty event but still quite enjoyable judging by the reaction from most of the players after the event, and more great winter weather to help our golf  for most.

Competition Results: -

Last Saturday's golf, a 4 Club Individual Stableford event, which must include a putter, produce some very good scores considering the lack of equipment everybody, had to play with.  Kerry Robertson won the day with 38 pt's on a c/b to Andrew [Umi] Umlauft with Stephen [Cooky] Gardiner in 3rd place on a c/b to Chris Magri both on 35 pt's.

The Pro-Pin 4th went to Danny Nobbs [460cm], the All-In 9/18th Matty Norton [400cm], Ladies 2nd shot to 6/15th Kerry Robertson [55cm] and the men's 2nd shot to 1/10th [not struck].

The “Island Plumbing & Gas" Putt Off remains and growing and today will be worth $225.

Wednesday's Golf, an Individual Stableford, had results starting to match the weather and the condition of the golf course with some more very good cards returned. Hayley Evans showed a remarkable return to form with an excellent 40 pt's easily winning the Ladies division from Robyn Lockhart 33 pt's and Kerry Robertson 32 pt's.  Cameron Feldman played some of his best golf of recent times to shoot a par round and win the day with 43 pt's in the Men's division from Andrew [Umi] Umlauft 40 pt's and Brad Tierney 39 pt's.  Kim Davies claimed the pro-Pin 4th [119cm].

Social Golf News:

It was another good roll up of golfing tragics enjoying the golf course, the weather and the company of like-minded golfers for Tuesday’s Veterans Golf.  Lisle Snell claimed the honours this week with 17 pt's from Ian [Hussa] Harris 15 pt's.  Everyone is welcome to join in the fun of Tuesdays Vets, teeing off during winter at 2.30pm.

Friday’s Norfolk Island Mechanical attracted a good field again for a nice winter’s afternoon.  One of our up and coming young golfers took out first place…congratulations Taj Quintal.  A reminder that everyone is always welcome to join us on Friday afternoons for a social 7 hole competition (no handicap required), lots of laughs and a great start to the weekend!

Our junior choc-runners also produced some great golf on Friday with Bailey Miller taking out first place.  Congratulations Bailey and welcome back to golf.  Our juniors will break next week for the Easter Carnival, but will be back on the following Friday.

Tuesday junior clinics do not run during the school holidays, however Friday choc run will continue straight through, so we look forward to seeing all of our juniors for a hit on the holidays!

The good weather continues and so does the golf with another top day on the golf course last Saturday. And a great roll up of members to contest the 3rd Rd of the “Kev Wills" Memorial Trophy. 

With the night time showers and daily sunshine, the golf course is in great condition and a credit to Des and Jason, our green keepers.

Competition Results:

The 3rd Rd of the "Kev Wills” Memorial Trophy attracted a very good field with a Canadian Foursomes being the play of the day, and some very good scores as well.  Winning the day were the team of Tony Scicluna and Mal Rundle with an excellent score of 61 nett.  Chris Magri and Katie Walden came in 2nd with what they thought would be a winning card on 65.5 nett and Caroline Miratana and Phil Duncan in 3rd place with 68.5 nett.

The Pro-Pin 4th went to Kerry Robertson [233cm], the All-In 9/18th Nathan Walden [250cm], the All-In 2nd shot to 6/15th Jason Quintal [215cm] and the Men's 2nd shot to 8/17th Kim Davies [229cm].

 The "Island Plumbing & Gas" Putt Off is still alive and growing and today will be worth $210.

Wednesday's golf, an Individual Stableford and another great winter’s day produced more good scores.  Kerry Robertson had another good round to win the Ladies division with 35 pt's from Robyn Lockhart on 31 pt's.  Paul [Shorty] Kiernan showed a return of form to win the day with 41 pt's from Nathan Walden 40 pt's.  Bruce Lockhart came in 3rd place with 39 pt's on a c/b to Matt Norton.  The Pro-Pin 4th went to Matt Norton [192cm].

Social Golf News:

Once again another good roll up of Veteran Golfers last week and the good weather making for another enjoyable afternoon on the course. That man Tony Scicluna did it again with another good round with 17 pt's.  No matter what the handicapper does he just keeps winning.  Bob Templeton came in 2nd place on 15 pt's.

Some overdue results from recent Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Runs has seen Mal Figgy Rundle take out first place along with the very in-form Tony Scicluna with two wins in a row.  The Chook Run continues to be a popular comp and a great way to spend your Friday afternoons.  A shout out to our generous sponsor Norfolk Island Mechanical for their ongoing support!

Don’t forget the Chook Run Jackpot Draw also runs every Friday.  If you’ve played in the Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run and your number is drawn (and you are still at the Club), you will claim 100% of the jackpot.  If you can’t make chook run, come down for a drink on the veranda anyway – that will get you 50% of the jackpot if your number comes out and you’re there!  You only have to be on the chook run handicap list (which dates way back!) to be in with a chance.

Our juniors have also been ticking away nicely and the results are showing for all of our junior golfers in the Friday afternoon Junior Choc Run.  Michael Shone has been in winning form taking out first place two weeks in a row, congratulations Michael.  Aly Miller has also made a come-back to golf in winning form.  Congrats Aly!  It’s great to see a good number of regular junior golfers and their families enjoying the Club.  A reminder that the choc-run tee off is 3.30pm, with all players to register in the Pro Shop (or call 23603) by 3.15pm so that the draw is done and the golfers are on the course in time to finish before we lose light!!

Everyone is welcome to join in our social comps – Tuesday Vets tee off for 9 holes at 2.30pm (during winter), The Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run tees off for 7 holes (during winter) on Fridays at anytime (most around 3pm), and the Junior Choc Run tees off for 4 junior holes on Fridays at 3.30pm (during winter) (NB:  A parent/adult supervisor is required for each group)

Once again the golf did not match the quality of the day last Saturday with a perfect winters day but struggle street out there for most. Numbers were down a little for an "Olive Cafe" Monthly Medal & Lisner Trophy, due to a number of members being away, but still a pleasant day on the course and an opportunity for those still here to share in the "Olive Cup" bonus points.  Also a big thanks to Tony and Sarah Watts of the "Castaway Hotel" our sponsors for this weekend's “Castaway” Bounty Tournament.  Tony and Sarah invited all players down to the Castaway last Thursday for a ' Welcome Nibbles & Drinks" to start the Tournament off. Wednesday's Golf, an Individual Stableford with bonus points toward the "2 Drips" Ansbury Christian Cup, once again proved the fact that if the weather is not quite right the golf improves.  With a strong Southerly wind blowing some good cards were returned.  The ever improving Dave Jeffreys did it again, winning the day with 41 pt's from Cameron Feldman 39 pt's on a c/b to Phil Duncan 39 pt's.  Pat McCoy was once again the best in the Ladies with 34 pt's from Ngaire Mossman 27 pt's.  The Pro-Pin 4th went to Jess Tierney [389cm].

Social Golf News :

A good roll up this week of regulars plus a few visitors made for another enjoyable afternoon on the golf course and the usual story telling afterwards.  Dave Jeffreys once again showed his gradual improvement with a very good 19 pt's which gives the handicapper something to do. Reliable Tony Scicluna finished 2nd with an honest 16 pts.

The Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run and the Junior Choc Run were both popular again on Friday.  Unfortunately results weren’t available at the time this report went to print.  A reminder that everyone is always welcome to join us for the ideal Friday afternoon wind-down.

With winter upon us unpredictable weather seems to be the game lately but with last Saturday being a fine but with gusty westerly winds made for a challenging time on the Golf Course.  The afternoon players had slight advantage over the morning players judging by the cards that came in but all in all made for another good day on course.  In comparison, Wednesday's weather was picture perfect and no excuses for bad golf but, how often it happens, the golf was not up to the standard of the weather.

Competition Results:

A 4 BBB Stableford, the play of the day last Saturday, produced some good scores considering the windy conditions.  The team of Brad Tierney and Kerry Robertson were the winners on the day with 46 pt's from Denis Smith & Dave McCowan 43 pt's on a c/b to Caroline Miratana & Matt Kelly in 3rd place.

Wednesday's golf, being a fine sunny day with very little wind one would have expected some good scores, but not the case.  Jess Tierney turned in the only honest card winning the day with 36 pt's from Paul [Shorty] Kiernan next on a c/b to Steve Foster both on 34 pt's. Ngaire Mossman had the best in the Ladies with 33 pt's.  The Pro-Pin 4th went to Eric Sweeney [137cm].

Social Golf News:

Veteran's golf last Tuesday attracted the normal golfing tragics and a fine day did not attract any more than the norm so if you are a keen golfer and have a spare Tuesday afternoon available from 3 pm come down and enjoy the friendship.  Tony Scicluna won the day with 16 pt's on a c/b to Fred Howe but we were all winners with the comradeship of the day.

Our chook runners enjoyed another pleasant afternoon on the course and took full advantage of the Golf Club being the perfect spot to spend Friday afternoon.  Dennis Sterling took out first place in the Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run, claiming the first of the highly sought after chooks!  Thanks must go to Dave Jeffreys and the Norfolk Island Mechanical Team for their continued sponsorship of the Chook Run.  This is a very social comp and everyone is welcome to join in (you don’t need an official handicap).  With the winter comp being only 7 holes, it’s a great time to get started, so come and give it a try!

Once again we also had a good field of juniors taking to the course for the junior choc run.  It was a great welcome back to golf for Abby Dixon who took out first place.   Congratulations Abby!  Our juniors are really getting into the swing and improving every week.  Thanks once again to our parent helpers last week! 

A reminder to our members that if you can assist with the junior comp occasionally (it only takes about an hour), please put your name on the roster (which is on the noticeboard).  This will assist in our junior comp continuing to grow, and in the juniors learning etiquette and more about the game of golf.   A further reminder that the junior comp is now teeing off at 3.30pm for the winter months, players need to be registered in the Pro Shop 15 minutes before tee off please.

It was a tail of two tee offs last Saturday with morning players definitely having the pick of the conditions enduring fine sunny weather in contrast to the pm players who experienced showery conditions all afternoon. After speaking of the delights of the weather gods lately they totally disrupted the weekends play. But with fine weather predicted this weekend the golf course should be in mint condition.

We welcomed our new Club Operations Supervisor, Elise McCaskie, last Saturday and Elise is excited to join our team. Please introduce yourself and welcome Elise when you are next at the Club. 

Competition Results:

That ever so popular golf event,  V's Par, attracted a very good field but the weather decided the outcome and the few withdrawals.  The morning players had the pick of the weather with Lisle Snell winning the day with +5 from Jared Magri +3 and one pm player, Geoff Parslow coming in 3rd with +2.  Tanya Smith had the best in the Ladies with -1.

The Pro-Pin 4th went to Lisle Snell [232cm], the All-In 9/18th Lisle Snell [343cm], the Ladies 2nd shot to 6/15th Pat McCoy [1200cm] & the Men's 2nd shot to 1/10th [not struck].

The "Island Plumbing & Gas" Putt Off continues on and up and today will be worth $135.

A perfect afternoon for Wednesday's golf, a complete contrast to Saturday afternoon and a good field to enjoy the conditions.  An Individual Stableford event, Ben Richards made good use of the weather with a very good 42 pt's from Chris Magri 40 pt's and Cameron Feldman in 3rd on 39 pt's.  The reliable Pat McCoy had the best in the Ladies with 35 pt’s from Ngaire Mossman 30 pt's.  The Pro-Pin 4th went to Jess Tierney [550cm].

Social Golf News:

Veteran's golf had the normal golf tragics enjoying the weather and the company with visitor Bruce Brideoake having the best result with 17 pt's.  So much more is solved about our bad shots over a couple of refreshing beers.

Our Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run attracted another good field and it was a stunning afternoon on the verandah for those taking advantage of a Friday afternoon drink. 

One of our new junior golfers, only recently joining the Junior Choc Run, George Peay took out first place on Friday – congratulations George!  Once again we had a good field of juniors taking to the course.  Special thanks to Robyn Lockhart who walked around with our juniors sharing her knowledge of the golf course, some course etiquette and ensuring our little golfers are happy and safe.

The weather Gods having been providing us with great golfing weather again after a spell of inclement weather and the Golf Course has responded giving us some excellent conditions to remove any excuses for bad golf.  But along comes the “Olive Cafe” Monthly Medal again and the players’ golf did not match the perfect conditions.  At least the visitors to the Golf Club have a panoramic view from the veranda whilst enjoying a healthy lunch or refreshing drink.

Another 'oops' from the results of the Pennants Matchplay a couple of weeks ago.  I failed to mention one member of the winning team, Cascade. So here it goes again. Dave Magri [Capt.], Jared Magri, Arty Keeping, Shane Evans, Jason McCoy, Edie Christian, Janet Reed & Stephen [Cooky] Gardiner. Sorry Cooky.

Competition Results:

 The " Olive Cafe " Monthly Medal & Lisner Trophy Rd 5, with bonus pt's to the "Olive Cup", upon us again and a big thanks once again to Naomi & Johanna for their continuing sponsorship. And with the perfect conditions we were all  expecting some great scores but only Pat McCoy in the Ladies division showed us how and won the day with a fine 67 nett claiming the  "Lisner Trophy" from Robyn Lockhart with 74 nett & Honi Wilson 76 nett.  Pat also took out The Olive Café Monthly Medal recording the best overall nett score of the day.  Congratulations Pat!  In the Men’s Monthly Medal, 5 Men came in with 74 nett with Eric Hutchinson take the honours, on a c/b to Tony Scicluna, on a c/b to Chris Magri, on a c/b to Jess Tierney, on a c/b to Eric Sweeney.

The Pro-Pin 4th went to Barley Christian [87cm], the All-In 9/18th Caroline Miratana [950cm], the Ladies 2nd shot to 6/15th Belinda Grube [ 593cm] & the Men's 2nd shot to 1/10th Kim Davies [331cm].

The "Island Plumbing & Gas" Putt Off remains intact and today will be worth $120.

Wednesday's golf, an Individual Stableford, just managed to finish before dusk as the winter days get shorter. Ngaire Mossman had the best in the Ladies with 34 pt's from Caroline Miratana 31 pt's and Pat McCoy 30 pt's.  Jess Tierney won the Men's with 40 pt's from Chris Magri 37 pt's and Dave McCowan 36 pt's.  The Pro - Pin 4th was not struck.

Social Golf News:

Our regular Tuesday vets enjoyed a quiet afternoon on the course followed by an enjoyable post-game drink, which solves all the problems…golf and otherwise!  Tuesday is always a great afternoon to escape for a social mid-week game and some good company.  

The Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run attracted a good field once again on Friday with everyone enjoying the social 7 holes for winter.  Results for the last two weeks saw Jesse Schmitz claim the first chook on Friday 27^th April and Jared Magri take out top spot last week. 

Jack Richards and Nate Christian-Bailey have taken the top spot in the junior choc run over the last two weeks with some good competition amongst our juniors over their new 4 hole course.

Firstly a big 'oops' for leaving out the winners of last Sunday's prestigious “NIGC Pennants Match Play" team that won the day.  If you were able to observe from the photograph printed in last week's paper, they were the winning team Cascade, taking out the title for the first time. So here it is the team of Dave Magri, Jared Magri, Jason McCoy, Arty Keeping, Shane Evans, Edie Christian & Janet Reed. Congratulations all for an enjoyable and competitive day.

Today we have another important event, the “Olive Cafe” Monthly Medal & Lisner Trophy with bonus pt's toward the 2018 “Olive Cup". Once again we thank Naomi & Johanna for their generous sponsorship which gives our members a challenge going forward for the year.  Unfortunately Naomi cannot participate due to an injury.

The Clubrooms remain busy during the day with the many visitors enjoying a game of golf and /or our healthy lunch menu and the panoramic view from our veranda.

Competition Results:

Last Saturday's Golf event was the annual “Port for Mort" Day, an Individual Stableford, a memorial day for the late Mort Rutledge and we thank Kim Davies for organising the considerable bottles of Port we enjoyed on the 2nd & 19th tee.  Stephen [Cooky] Gardiner won the day with 40 pt's from Shane Evans 37 pt's and Dave McCowan 36 pt's on a c/b from Eric Hutchinson & Matt Kelly.

Belinda Grube had the best of the Ladies with 38 pt's from Caroline Miratana 33 pt's on a c/b to Kerry Robertson in 3rd place.

Tony Scicluna claimed the Pro-Pin 4th [145cm], the All In 9/18th Shane Evans [300cm], the Ladies 2nd shot to 6/15th [not struck] and the Men's 2nd shot to 1/10th Cooky Gardiner [238cm].

The “Island Plumbing & Gas" Putt Off maintains it upward climb and today will be worth $105.

Wednesday's golf, another Individual Stableford but with bonus pt's toward the "2 Drips” Ansbury Christian Cup.  Kim Davies showed a return to form to take the honours with a very good 43 pt's from Eric Hutchinson 34 pt's on a c/b from Geoff Parslow.  The Pro-Pin 4th went to Bruce Lockhart [420cm].

Social Golf News:

A small field this week, but as usual an enjoyable afternoon of golf.  Tony Scicluna won the day again with 17 pt's.  The rest were a long way behind [in points only] and would prefer not to be mentioned.  We all blamed the wind. There is always next week.

The Norfolk Island Mechanical Chook Run and the Junior Choc Run both moved to the winter comp, with the chook run reducing the 7 holes and the juniors altering their four hole course to be played over the first and second holes.  The transition was smooth sailing; however the slightly longer junior course resulted in a later finish for our juniors, so we will shorten their course slightly moving forward.  Despite this, a change and new challenge will be great for our future golfers. 

At the time of going to print the results weren’t available, therefore we will report the winners in next week’s golf report.
