After organising hundreds of events over 30 years, Max is close to throwing in the towel. The latest challenge for the irritable planner is a magnificent wedding reception in a 17th century chateau, where he thinks he has put together all the ingredients to make the party a success. However as the celebrations get underway everything goes wrong. He must deal with a volatile, foul-mouthed assistant, missing staff, rebellious waiters, an eccentric groom, broken electrical system and substitute DJ.
