From 12 April : BlacKkKlansman, Directed by Spike Lee. Based on a crazy, outrageous, incredible true story.

In the early 1970’s Ron Stallworth becomes the first African-American detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department.  Determined to make a difference he bravely sets out on a dangerous mission to infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan.  He recruits a seasoned colleague Flip Zimmerman into the undercover investigation.  Together they team up to take down the extremist organisation aiming to garner mainstream appeal.  Rated MA15+  Screening Friday 7.30pm, Saturday 7.30pm, Sunday 5.30pm,   2hrs 10mins


From 20 April : Johnny English Strikes Again, starring Rowan Atkinson

From 26 April : Lean on Pete, starring Charlie Plummer, Steve Buscemi.


This is a tender and poetic story of Charley, a young boy who finds acceptance and camaraderie at a local racetrack when he lands the job of caring for an aging Quarter Horse named Lean on Pete.  The horse’s gruff owner and his seasoned jockey, fill the void of his absent father, until he discovers that his new friend is bound for slaughter, prompting him to take extreme measures to spare Pete’s life.  Rated M
