Passports
All visitors traveling to Norfolk Island must have a current
passport or if you are traveling from Australia you can
arrive on the Island with a document of identity, If you
are not an Australian or New Zealand citizen you will
need to hold a Australian Government Immigration entry
visa in order to enter the Island.
Departure Fee
A departure fee of $40.00 must be paid by all departing
travelers from Norfolk Island. Children under the age
of 16 are exempt. You will need to present your airline
ticket or boarding pass and a complete departure card
to pay your departure fee. You can pay at the Norfolk
Island airport on the day of travel or pop into the
visitor Information Centre during your holiday.
Customs
The imports of fruit and vegetables as well as flowers
and seeds are prohibited. Pork and poultry from New
Zealand are also not allowed onto Norfolk Island. No
liquids (including bottles of water), aerosols and gels
are to be taken on board any flight leaving Norfolk
Island.
