As the Kingston Tent Embassy enters its fifth year, congratulations to the brave Norfolk Islanders who continue the fight for representative democracy. It should be a matter of shame for all Australians who fail to support the struggle for the rights of Norfolk Islanders to self-determination. Perhaps 2020 will prove to be the year when the United Nations will at last accept the justice of the case for a voluntary act of self-determination to be made available to all who genuinely call Norfolk Island home - and who must be vigilant to ensure that their vote is not swamped by outsiders from Canberra. In that regard, close attention should be paid to the manner in which Indonesia manipulated the "independence" vote in West Papua and similar French tactics in New Caledonia and "French Polynesia" designed to swamp the genuine voice of indigenous peoples.

Well spotted Peter...

Unfortunately – due to indiscriminate ingress [withZERO immigration vetting etc.]  of certain random dumbarse-bogan-dipshitz in the mid-60’s – the'fifth-column' is already in place & actively collaborating with their Canberra ‘minders’…

  • SEVEN+ GENERATIONS of our Pitcairner ancestors, however … now  Rest in More-Heavenly Peace - because of the incredible dedication, resilience, perseverance, ingenuity... & good works - of so many of this current generation of Norfolk-Patriots.
